How will I leave?

What will I learn?

In the first two years you will learn about research, inner development, perspectives and narratives, community and culture, regenerative economics, natural science, art craft and design, and develop an self-directed independent inquiry.

This is a recognised Ofqual Level 3 Extended Diploma from the CFI (A Level / IB equivalent) which has a strong emphasis on the integration of traditional subject silos within a context of a rapidly changing world through the lens of nature, culture and human nature. This is a course that connects to head, hands and heart.

Whilst working on your Level 7 course you will create an original contribution and insight that builds from the above and possibly from a years work experience.

How will I learn?

In essence you will learn in a real world context working with scientists, artists, designers and entrepreneurs. You will work with experts, great educators and AI technology to ensure this is accessible and that you thrive.

You will work individually and in teams. You will be able to bring your life outside the Hummingbird Institute into your learning within it.

Our approach uses inquiry to move through our distinct explore to share process and make personal discoveries about yourself, others and the world.

Where will you learn?

We have a 5 year lease for the Hummingbird! We will be taking over the King's Bruton’s History Building on The Plox. Though formally independent from Kings Bruton, we’ll also have access to King’s wider facilities including their playing fields and labs. Number 26 on the picture. More pictures to come soon.
