This poetry exploration will help you discover the poet you are and maybe even lead you to have your work published. Being a poet is within us all, we start life as poets. Young children play with sounds and language, we notice the beat of our steps and explore our own curiosity. Sometimes, as we get older, going to school alters this natural playfulness and exploration. At Hummingbird our focus is on becoming the poet rather than teaching you about a particular style of poetry. Welcome aboard.
